After leaving school I studied at Bishop Burton College in 2011. During this time I was also working part time at Beverley Veneers on my days off college. I then went full time at Beverley Veneers in 2012, I worked on a vast majority of machines in the factory and was competent on all.
In 2014 I had the opportunity to go into the building trade and worked for a company for 6 years crafting my skills and gaining all the knowledge I needed to start my own landscaping business in 2020. This business was very successful for the 4 years I ran it, whilst running the business I completed works at Beverley Veneers including, Securing the perimeter with palisade security fencing, laying a block paved driveway for extra parking for management and visitors at the front of the offices and finally laid tarmac parking bays down the side of the factory.
In 2023 I was approached by Stewart to join the team at Beverley Veneers with a start date of January 2024. In the meantime I had been married and had two children so I was on the look for something with a bit more job security and also a new challenge. The job at Beverley Veneers provided me with everything I was looking for, a new start with a great team which would be challenging but rewarding and I am very much looking forward to seeing where I can go with my career at Beverley Veneers.
